Job Summary
We are seeking an Senior UI / UX Product Designer for Cloudvirga, a part of the Stewart family of companies. Responsible for creating thoughtful user-centered designs based user research, interviews and usability testing. Our designers will also plan, design, and implement products through collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to develop products that solve problems and align with business goals. You will be required to have strong visual design skills, attention to detail and a deep understanding of user experience principles.
Job Responsibilities
Implements creative product or product line designs that reflect current trends and the organization's aesthetic.Creates sketches, concept boards, color palettes, or other visual demonstrations translating market trends into organizational products.Plan and implements innovative designsWorks with Product and Engineering teams to solve problemsOptimize existing user interface designs to incorporate business objectives and requirementsCommunicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectivesDevelop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutionsUtilizes creativity with an awareness of the design elementsCreate and test prototypes, wireframes, and mockups for new product ideasConduct ongoing user research and UX project planningPerforms specialized assignments; solves complex problems and develops non-traditional solutions through sophisticated analytical thinkingInterprets internal / external business environmentRecommends best practices to improve processes or servicesImpacts achievements of customer, operational, project or service objectivesCommunicates difficult concepts to team to generate clarity and alignment on projects, initiatives, and various work productsMay lead functional projects with moderate risks and resource requirementsIndividual contributor working independently; may require guidance in highly complex situationsPerforms all other duties as assigned by managementEducation
Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferredExperience
Typically requires 5 years of related work experienceDemonstrated ability to design for cross-channel experiences (e.g. responsive web, native mobile)Advanced proficiency in design tools (Ex. Figma) to deliver library components, prototypes which drive successful collaboration across design teamsStrong communication and storytelling skills to articulate design decisions and system updates
