Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our team. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care, treatment, transportation, and customer service to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations.
About the Role:
- Respond to emergent and non-emergent calls as directed by the Communications Center
- Assess and stabilize patients utilizing Basic Life Support (BLS) skills
- Provide safe, time-bound transportation for patients to the appropriate hospital, care-facility, or residence
Responsibilities:
- Transport injured or sick individuals to medical facilities
- Determine the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish first aid procedures
- Administer prescribed first-aid treatment at site of emergency, or in specially equipped vehicle
- Monitor communication equipment to maintain contact with dispatcher
- Communicate with medical personnel at emergency treatment facilities
Requirements:
- Able to obtain a state certification
- CPR Certification
- Registered with the NREMT
- Commitment to providing exemplary customer service
