Veterinarian

Stewartville Animal clinic, located just South of Rochester, MN [home of the Mayo Clinic] is looking to add a DVM to our small-town community veterinary clinic. We are open to fulling a full-time or part-time role as we are prioritizing finding the best fit for our clinic and team.

We believe our doctors should have autonomy to "take the wheel and drive" to practice medicine your way as long as there is alignment with our company's core values. You will have significant support from the Clinic Manager, with oversight from the owner, to practice high-quality, compassionate, veterinary medicine. This position does not have any late evenings, weekends, or on-call.

We have a robust team that includes many experienced and talented CVTs, Assistants, and receptionists to support the addition of more doctors to our team. We believe that adequate staff is having approximately 2-3 CVTs per DVM with additional support from Assistants and Receptionists. Our goal is to maximize the efficiency of our DVMs by utilizing support staff effectively.

About Us
Stewartville Animal Clinic has been an integral piece of the community since the 70's; the former owner retired in 2016 and has been owned by Dr. Garren Kelly since. We also have two sister clinics in the region: Meadow View Veterinary Clinic and Byron Pet Clinic.

SAC is designed to facilitate veterinarians in providing patients with quality veterinary care with tools and technology to make our processes safe and efficient. We have:

• Electronic medical records to access all 3 locations easily (ezyVet)
• Digital radiographs
• Ultrasound
• In-house Idexx equipment & Idexx reference laboratory

Our ideal candidate will be interested in providing quality medical and surgical care to patients while delivering exceptional service to clients. We are looking for a DVM that can communicate effectively, has a desire to learn and grow, and is self-motivated.
