As a Dealership Service Manager, you will oversee the service department, ensuring high-quality automotive repair and maintenance while managing a team of technicians. Your core skills in mechanical knowledge and vehicle maintenance will be essential in maintaining service standards. With your experience in dealership operations and management, you will drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your premium skills in automotive service and relevant experience in auto body repair and restoration will enhance the overall performance of the service team. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations of the service department
- Manage and support service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure top-notch customer service and satisfaction
- Schedule service appointments and manage repair workflow
- Maintain parts inventory and coordinate ordering with parts department
- Monitor service department performance metrics (efficiency, profitability, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards
- Train and develop service team members
- Assist with budgeting and expense control
- Work closely with sales department to support overall dealership success
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in automotive service management (dealership experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Proficient with dealership management software and Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent (automotive certifications a plus)
- Technical automotive knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $7,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
