Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse/Logistics Coordinator to assist with our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics. You will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling logistics, and utilizing asset tracking software to maintain accurate records of our materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure stock availability and accuracy.
- Operate and manage inventory and asset tracking software to monitor and record product movement and storage.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing shipments, loading and unloading trucks, and processing shipping documentation.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory levels, asset tracking, and logistics activities.
- Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience with inventory and asset tracking software management is required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. (certification is a plus).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, as required by warehouse tasks.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with electrical systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an electrical construction warehouse environment.
- Experience with ERP systems or other warehouse management software.
