What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audience Services Representative 1 position at STG?
The Audience Services Representative provides excellent customer services both internally and externally through working live shows. Duties include handling ticket sales, will call distribution and other operational needs. Shifts will primarily occur at our four city venues, The Paramount, Moore and Neptune Theatres and Kerry Hall. Must also have the ability to work show shifts and THING festival at our outdoor concert venue, Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA. If needed, roundtrip transportation from downtown Seattle to Carnation will be provided by STG for Remlinger Farms shifts.
This position requires evening and weekend shifts, with schedules set one month ahead. The number of hours worked each week may vary based on the volume of performances. Although most events are planned well in advance, some may be scheduled on short notice.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Handle tickets sales and will call at the box office window
- Distribute extra items such as laminates and VIP vouchers when needed
- Assist with all customer service needs as assigned
- Address general patron questions in person

QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior box office or performing arts venue experience preferred
- Knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics or other ticketing applications preferred
- Demonstrated customer service experience required
- Must be available every weekend when shows are scheduled
- Must be available evenings and holidays as needed
- Ability to take direction and work independently
- PC skills and ability to learn new software
- Basic math and accounting proficiency
- Spanish language skills a plus
- Consistent and punctual attendance required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Vision – corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use the computer screen.
- Sitting/Standing/Walking – about 50% of the time is spent seated at a desk.
