Event (ticketing) Build Specialist

The Event Show Builder creates, tests, and monitors events in STG's ticket system while managing high-level client communication.  This is primarily a daytime position, with occasional evenings and weekends required.  The pay range for this position is $25-35/hour, with benefits including Medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, STD insurances and paid vacation, sick, holidays as well as a 403b with a discretionary match.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Build out events in STG's ticket system for Paramount, Moore, Neptune, and outside venue shows as needed, using:Archtics

  1. Ticketmaster
  2. Host
  3. TM1 Events

Communicate with STG's in-house booking department, rental promoter clients, artist representatives, and Ticketmaster to manage every step of the event
build process

    Communicate event details to STG stakeholders (front of house, box office, marketing, etc.)

    Monitor event presales and on-sales at launch time

    Keep internal documents up to date with show details

    Coordinate ticket counts and other client needs

     Work occasional show nights to see your events through from booking to completion

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1.       High-level of attention to detail

    2.       Supervisor-level ticket system experience (Ticketmaster experience is a plus)

    3.       Ability to learn new software quickly

    4.       Math proficiency: percentages, formulas, basic accounting operations

    5.       Mid-level Excel functions (formulas, cell references)

    6.       Excellent communication skills

    7.       Excellent client care skills

    8.       Ability to manage workloads and meet tight deadlines

    9.       Prior venue event experience
