ST is searching for a Sales Manager to join our Dairy Sales Team in Wisconsin! As a Sales Account Manager, you will provide consultative sales and support to dairy accounts in Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have an established network of dairy connections, experience in consultative sales, and a strong desire to build lasting relationships with clients. In this role, you will demonstrate the value of STgenetics’ program offerings to increase and maintain sales in the central region.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Increase sales by identifying new targets, demonstrating value proposition, and providing outstanding genetic, reproductive, and farm management consultation to optimize customer profitability
- Build STgenetics’ image on the dairy as a respected member of the dairy management team, helping to enhance profitability through genetic progress, optimized reproductive success, and technology implementation
- Develop written and digital reports to promote STgenetics as a leader in optimizing profitability for dairies on their genetic, reproductive and management programs
- Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships through excellent customer service, value-added services, and technical support.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Dairy/Animal Science or related field
- 2-5 years of consultative sales experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Ability to analyze dairy record herd management software, such as PC Dart, Bovisync, and Dairy Comp 305
- Outstanding communication skills in English are required; the ability to communicate in Spanish preferred but not required
- Knowledge and experience with large, progressive dairy herds
- Expertise of dairy business, management, genetics, and reproduction
- Goal-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets
