This is a Part-time position working: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
Hours: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Pay rate: $17.00 Hour

Responsibilities and Duties
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environment policies, procedures, and requirements for the facility and laboratory equipment.
- Adhere to SOP’s instructions on laboratory biosecurity and cleanliness, and media preparation.
- Ensure that the media are not exposed to undesired temperatures or to potential contaminants.
- Ensure that all records, electronic and handwritten, are complete and accurate.
- Ensure that equipment used for media preparation are maintained in proper working condition. Perform regular maintenance, calibration and minor troubleshooting as required.
- Ensure that all necessary supplies for media preparation are available and within expiration date. Resupply working area and communicate ordering needs to laboratory management as needed.
- With assistance from management, plan media production routine and volumes according to laboratory production schedule and expected output.
- Sample and culture media for bacteriology evaluation. Evaluate and record culture results.
- Assess media quality control records and release media batches for use.
- Verify and discard expired media daily.
- Clean and sterilize all labware used for media production.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Cleanroom experience preferred
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques, sterilization methods, and maintenance of sterile production environments.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements for extended periods without fatigue
- Dexterity and fine motor skills to handle delicate materials without contamination
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
