Job Location: Middleton, WI
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes in the Middleton location to ensure productivity, accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate daily receiving functions, including verifying purchase order receiving, incoming inspections, serialization of goods, stocking replenishments, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Oversee the picking and distribution of parts to various production labs
- Accurate and timely restocking of received inventory into warehouse storage locations
- Manage inventory accuracy, including restocking, item location management, and tracking of obsolete items or new product arrivals.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and lead physical inventory preparation and audits, working with the purchasing and other teams to resolve any inventory or receiving issues.
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe work areas, optimizing workflow and minimizing potential inventory discrepancies.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align warehouse operations with production and order fulfillment goals.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and organized, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and receiving issues.
- Backup and support of sample reception
Experience Requirements:
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP database systems
Education requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Associate degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, or arms.
- Eye-hand coordination, depth perception, finger dexterity, and functional vision and speech perception are required.
- Some bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, and lifting/lowering of up to 50 lbs. Appropriate support equipment will be provided to lift and move greater amounts.
