Position Title: CDL A Delivery Driver
Exempt Status: Non Exempt
Accountable To: Driver Supervisor
Job Summary: Delivery Drivers deliver foodservice products to our customers within a given radius. Deliveries are made using a two-wheel handcart or by hand. Exceptional customer service skills are required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Safely operate day tractors and various-length trailers, primarily 28’ pups
Manually unload and deliver foodservice product using a two-wheel handcart
Provide excellent customer service while delivering products to our customers
Occasionally and accurately receive customer payments for product delivered
Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete daily paperwork
Operate, deliver, and work in a professional, safe manner.

Qualifications:
Must hold a valid CDL-A commercial driver’s license with DOT medical certification
Must have relative driving experience with a verifiable safety record
No “Automatic Restriction” on driver’s license
Must pass pre-employment requirements, including a background check, physical lift evaluation, and drug test
Ability to satisfy all relative DOT requirements
Ability to lift an average of 25 – 50 pounds repetitively, and as much as 90 pounds occasionally
Ability to maneuver a handcart weighing 200 - 300 pounds in various environments
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate with our customers
The Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 50-55 hours weekly average
Start time 4:00 am / 5:00 am, work until finish
Home daily / No weekends
Education & Experience:
Candidates must have a valid CDL A driver’s license.
CDL A license cannot have an automatic restriction, must be able to drive a manual
Driving experience is not necessary, but preferred
