**Position: Sales Project Manager - Building Supply**
The Sales Project Manager - Building Supply is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, promoting products, and driving sales in designated territories.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing expert advice on residential building supplies.
- Respond to customer inquiries, offer product recommendations, and provide detailed quotations.
- Visit job sites to discuss planning, rough openings, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and achieve regional sales targets.
- Manage and process customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintain strong knowledge of current product lines, industry trends, and competitor products.
- Support project coordination, ensuring proper communication between customers, field sales, and operations.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling related products and services.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns efficiently.
- Track and report sales performance metrics and customer feedback.
- Safety Compliance ? Ensure adherence to safety policies and guidelines.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with CRM software.
- 3 years of experience in outside sales, customer service, or related roles, preferably in the window and door or building materials industry.
- In-depth knowledge of window and door products, installation methods, and industry standards.
- Experience with wood, fiberglass, and steel exterior doors is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with contractors and builders.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.
- Awareness of ergonomic principles and ability to adhere to safety standards.
- Strong ability to operate and troubleshoot tablets, smartphones, and other digital tools for daily tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Valid driver?s license and insured personal vehicle.
- Ability to lift 15 lbs. repetitively.
- Employment eligibility.
- Ability to pass drug and background screening.
