What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Associate position at Stifel?
The Alternative Investment Operations Associate is responsible for aiding in driving departmental results by reviewing documents to be submitted in good order to Alternative Investment Fund Companies under direct supervision. This position requires the ability to gain a sound understanding of department subject matter including Fund Subscription, Redemption and Transfer document requirements while serving as liaison to internal and external stakeholders. This position will require collaboration among team members to execute on departmental objectives under direct supervision while following established procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Accurately review and process Alternative Investment documents and perform job duties as provided by leadership while adhering to departmental procedures and guidelines.
- Proficient review and processing of subscriptions, redemptions and transfers in all systems used for the alternative investment platforms.
- Identify potential problems or issues and escalate to department leadership if necessary.
- Develop effective communication skills within the department around the multiple facets of the alternative investment transaction processes.
- Provide timely updates on progression of job responsibilities to leadership.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
