The intern will help design and implement automation changes in the 3pc crankshaft pack-out area to accept a new style wash / transport basket. Tasks will include :
- SolidWorks modeling and design
- Fanuc robot programming, process analysis and improvement techniques
- Project management
- If time permits, analysis of smaller diameter raw bar stock in our swiss lathe machines as a cost saving initiative.
- Other small tasks / projects as assigned.
Internship Goals
Internship Requirements :
Academic Year : Junior or above
Area of Study : Mechanical Engineering
Preferred GPA : 3.0
Software Experience : SolidWorks, 3D CAD modeling design, Project Management, Office 365

Work Hours : 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm
