STIIIZY Cannabis Materials Handler

Performs a variety of quality control tests on products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and or supplies stocked in establishment. Posts totals to inventory records, manually and using computer.
• Enters accurate quantities on company and regulatory systems.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
• Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, and shortages.
• Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as production records to obtain current inventory.
• Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance.
• Examines incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with stakeholders to rectify.
• Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.?Completes all paperwork or forms required for documentation.
• Prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, and stamping.
• Confirms necessary batch records.
• Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.
• May operate office machines, computers, data systems and calculators.
• May stock and issue materials or merchandise.
• Replenish production supplies according to work orders.
• Assists other employees in accomplishing company goals.
• Participates in and completes company-required training programs.
• Participates in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
• Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by your manager.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems. Ability to work with others collaboratively. Strong organizational skills.
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Experience leading teams or projects strongly desired.
• Lean manufacturing and continual process improvement experience preferred.

Requirements: 

• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
• Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 40 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
• Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
• Must be able to complete repeated twisting, grasping, reaching, turning, stooping, and lifting activities throughout shift and for prolonged periods of time.?

This role operates in a cannabis manufacturing setting where exposure to fine plant particles, such as dust from grinding or trimming, is common. The company provides all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain safety and comfort while working in this environment
