STIIIZY Janitor II

Cleans buildings, removes debris, and maintains areas in an orderly and sanitary condition. Performs advanced cleaning tasks, including specialized floor care and equipment maintenance, while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Assists in training new staff and supports the team in handling larger cleaning projects or resolving complex maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, emptying trash receptacles, and replacing the lining of trash cans. 
• Cleans and services restrooms with mops and disinfectants. 
• Duties may include tending to facility equipment, performing routine maintenance activities, and notifying management of the need for repairs. 
• Maintains OSHA standards for safety. 
• As part of your janitorial duties, you may be required to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the building property exterior, including but not limited to exterior windows, entryways, and other exterior surfaces.
• Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Perform routine cleanings and proactively identify other detailed tasks to complete. 
• Restocking supplies, sanitizing high-traffic areas, and ensuring all cleaning assignments are properly completed and meet proper standards of cleanliness, safety, and appearance. 
• Detail clean, sanitize and disinfect bathrooms.
• Clean sinks, countertops, and microwaves in break rooms.
• High traffic/High touch and common areas wipe and disinfect including but not limited to (Doors, Handles, Light Switches, Stairwell, Handrails etc.)
• Empty all trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as necessary.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, and waxing & polishing floors, hallways, walls, ceilings & light fixtures.
  •    Follow all health and safety regulations about work.
• Follow all cGMP and PPE protocols.
• May perform activities that include periods of rigorous, repetitive work. 
• Maintain acceptable attendance record and promptness to work and within assigned workstation; reliable, strong work ethic. 
• Performs work under general supervision.
• Participates in and completes company-required training programs.  
• Participates in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.

Education & Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior janitorial experience is preferred.
• Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

 
Requirements: 

• Must be over 21 years of age.
• Available to work various schedules. 
• Flexible availability to workday and night shifts.
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week.
• Report on-time, regular attendance with reliable service performance.
• Complete assigned work on time with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of cleaning products and willing to add on additional skills.
• Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• A willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles is required.
• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
• Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time. 
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 40 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
•  Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
• Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
