The Trade Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of trade marketing initiatives to drive brand visibility and sales across retail and wholesale channels. This role will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and retail teams to develop and implement campaigns, manage promotional materials, and ensure effective in-store merchandising. Additionally, the coordinator will assist with field marketing efforts, trade shows, and inventory coordination to optimize the impact of marketing programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about trade marketing, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Campaign Execution – Assist in planning, developing, and executing trade marketing campaigns across in-store, online, and event channels.
  • Retail & Sales Support – Work closely with retail and sales teams to support product launches, promotions, and merchandising efforts, ensuring proper in-store placement and visibility.
  • Field Marketing & Events – Assist with trade shows, industry events, and field marketing initiatives, ensuring brand consistency and effective execution.
  • Inventory & Logistics Coordination – Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to track, manage, and distribute promotional materials and product stock for trade campaigns.
  • Marketing Content Creation – Help develop creative assets such as flyers, brochures, and display materials to support trade marketing efforts.
  • Reporting & Analysis – Collect, analyze, and report on trade marketing performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Serve as a key liaison between marketing, sales, and retail teams to ensure smooth execution of trade marketing programs.
  • Performs work under direct supervision.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

  • Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by the supervisor.

Technical Skills & Abilities :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools to coordinate marketing activities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.) for collaboration and content creation.
  • Basic graphic design skills for developing marketing materials (experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools is a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, sales support, or a related field.
  • Experience in the cannabis, CPG, or retail industry is preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience supporting sales teams, retail operations, or event coordination is a plus.
  • Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and / or lift a minimum of 15 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and / or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Ability to get in and out of vehicle and walk up and down stairs during your shift.
  • Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
