Responsible for coordinating our memory care unit.
The Unit Coordinator sets the tone for the neighborhood and constantly interacts with patients, staff, and visitors. In addition, this position will review and file reports and ensure that supplies and equipment are properly maintained. At times this position will be required to work as a floor CNA. Experience with electronic medical records and "On Shift" is preferred. Applicants should be a team player, solutions oriented, have exceptional organization skills and be able to work independently with a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling: Coordinate and manage shift schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage at all times.

Resident Care Coordination: Under direction of the ADON, ensure that all resident care plans are followed, monitor progress, and assist staff in delivering personalized care.

Family Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for resident family members, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Supply Management: Order and maintain necessary supplies for the unit, ensuring availability of medications, personal care items, and other necessities.
- Administrative Support: Utilize strong administrative skills to assist with documentation, reports, and communications within the facility.
- Act as CNA: Step in to provide direct care to residents as needed, supporting the team with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Med Tech Duties: Perform medication management tasks, ensuring accurate medication administration for residents when needed.
