SUMMARY : The Senior Actuary will report to the President / CEO and work directly with multiple lines of business; Auto, Home, and Commercial projects including modeling, pricing, product, reserving and analytics. This individual will work collaboratively across all teams and departments within Stillwater.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- The position will require an in-depth knowledge of RMS and AIR modeling software. Modeling software will be utilized to develop and refine cat by-peril pricing.
- Provides actuarial analyses and opinions to support Stillwater's key strategic and tactical business decisions.
- Provides forecasts for exposures, premiums, insured values, and losses for risk management, reinsurance, and budgeting purposes.
- Assist in the ratemaking and reserving processes.
