Position Overview:

The Field Technician is responsible for assisting in the releveling of manufactured homes, installing Xi2 earthquake systems, and ensuring job sites meet high-quality standards. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who wants to work hard, learn a skilled trade, and advance into a leadership position within a growing company. We offer structured training, guaranteed pay increases, and a direct path to a Lead Technician role.

Compensation & Growth Path:

• $27.50/hour starting wage during a 6-month apprenticeship phase (paid training)
• Guaranteed raise after completing the training period.
• Opportunities to transition to a salaried position with benefits after one year.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in releveling manufactured homes and installing foundation stabilization systems.
• Conduct inspections and report findings to the Lead Technician.
• Learn to use specialized tools and equipment to ensure precise leveling.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site.
• Work closely with the Lead Technician to develop skills and gain hands-on experience.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members.
• Travel to job sites within the Portland metro area, up to 150 miles away (travel reimbursement is offered for long distance jobs).

Qualifications:

• No experience required— just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Construction, foundation work, or general labor experience is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working in crawl spaces under homes for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Mental toughness, problem-solving skills, and a strong desire to grow within the company.
