Details :
- Full-time, 36 hours per week
- 3 - 12 hr shifts
- Occassional weekends on rotation
- Helps provide 24 / 7 coverage of the ER
JOB SUMMARY : Works closely with other Security Officers to protect staff, patients, and visitors, and to ensure that all Stillwater Medical Center (SMC) Main Campus (Hospital, Medical Office Building and Cancer Center) property is secure. QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must have basic Word and Excel skills to record information.
- Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment.
- Ability to serve as a Security Officer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must have the strength and mobility to participate in self-defense training.
- Must have the strength for physical restraint in Code Purple and Dr Nine situations.
- Must be able to talk and listen to communicate with others.
- Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
- Must have adequate vision, or correctable with glasses / contacts, to perform duties.
- Able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
