What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at Stillwater Medical Center?
Nuclear Medicine Technologist who works in our Cardiology Clinic performing diagnostic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals, exercising professional judgement in performance of services, and applying principles of radiation protection for self and the patient. Must be proficient in vascular access.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduated from a Radiological Technology Nuclear Medicine training program in an AMA approved school, or equivalent training.
- Current ARRT or NMTCB registry card on file. Registry eligible technologist can work under the supervision of a registered technologist or physician.
- Understand the ethics of confidentiality.
- Documentation of continuing education required.
- Preferred registry card on file.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire

- Full-time
- 40 hours per week
- Weekdays: clinic hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm
