- This position works three - 12 hour shifts
- You will also work every other weekend (with those amazing shift differentials) and holidays on rotation.Apply now!JOB SUMMARY : Assists in the care and support of the patient, utilizing technical nursing skills.QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- CNA with completion of a Nurse Assistant training course or a minimum of one year acceptable patient care experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to function in stressful situations.
- Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing.
- Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses / contacts, to read and write.
- Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.
- Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
- Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Possess fine motor skills and hand / eye coordination to give care (i.e. : finger stick blood sugars, vital signs, feed patients, and handle instruments).
