- 2-year commitment
Our Cardiac Cath Lab is looking for an experienced, full-time Rad Tech or graduate of an A.A.S. Cardiovasular Technology program to assist in care of our patients. Current Cath Lab Rad Techs, join our highly skilled and experienced team of Cardiologists, Rad Techs, and RNs in the lab. Our lab has a collaborative environment, as we work together to save lives and better the outcomes of our patients. If you are RCIS or RCES registered, you will receive a differential to reflect your professional excellence. Stillwater Medical's Heart and Vascular Institute was built in 2019 to meet the needs of our growing community. We have two labs, a procedure room, and an eight bed pre/post area. Full-time position. The lab is open M - F from 0700 - 1530.

Call for cardiac emergencies is an important way we serve our community. This position takes call 10 - 12 shifts per month (accomodations now available-ask recruiter for specific details if needed!).

Minimum one (1) year of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab

Cardiovascular Credentialing Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within one year of employment preferred.

Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Current ACLS certification within one year of employment.

Advanced ECG interpretation skills required.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Knowledge of anatomy and radiation exposure required.

Proficiency in radiation safety practices required.

Core customer service skills required.

Strong computer skills required.

Able to work in latex-burdened environment.

Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing.

Able to frequently lift up to 60 lbs., reach, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel.

Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable glasses/contacts, to read, write, and evaluate medical images.

Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the telephone.

Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately observe, monitor, and administer care.

Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care.

Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
