Job Description:
The primary purpose of your job position is to obtain processes all phases of weekly payroll including timekeeping system, data entry, accrual management, deductions and garnishments in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as directed by your supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Poll electronic time clocks and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy.
Review time sheets and other information to detect and reconcile
Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.
Contact various department supervisors for any missed times and enter corrections after verifying work time with employees.
Audit time clock to ensure compliance with meal and rest period requirements.
Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance, and 401(k) deductions.
Develop, run and distribute internal management reports.
Must maintain confidentiality regarding employee personal and wage information.
Accept and perform temporary or long-term assignments to various departments within the facility as required by the Administrator.
Assist Department Directors in the development and use of written departmental policies and procedures.
Ensure that all employees, residents, visitors, and the general public follow the facility established policies and procedures.
Review and assist in developing a plan of correction for deficiencies noted during survey inspections.
Qualifications:
High School diploma required
Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
Skilled Nursing Facility experience strongly preferred
ADP experience strongly preferred
Paychex experience strongly preferred
Ability to adequately scan documents for A/P
Proficiency in computer skills

Pay Range: $25-30/hour
