SWRA is a lakeside community located near Dadeville, Alabama. SWRA provides administrative, maintenance, and owner relations, to the StillWaters Sub-Associations. Each sub-association is governed by a Board of Directors elected by each sub-association owners. The Sub-Association Bookkeeper reports to and receives directions from the SWRA Association Manager / General Manager and the Associate Association Manager. The position requires a great deal of tact and professionalism in dealing with sub-association residents, sub-association Board of Directors, and various vendors/suppliers. *Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team, minimum of 4 years of Business Accounting Skills is a must, candidates without business accounting skills need not apply.The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing sub-association financial operations and ensuring efficient office management.
*Duties*
1. Responsibility of handling bookkeeping services for nine (7) sub-associations (5 – Condominiums, 2 – Single Family Home Sub-Divisions). This is a leadership position responsible for the administrative, detailed monthly and annual financials, budgets for sub-associations, accounts receivable, accounts payable and invoice payments.
2. Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams software, QuickBooks Online, operating copier/scan/fax equipment, ability to learn new PayHOA association management software, Constant Contact, Publisher.
3. Maintain good public relations with residents, contractors, suppliers or other sub-association business entities.
4. Responsible for some or all the accounting for sub-associations contracted by SWRA.
5. Assist outside accountant with year-end tax returns for sub-associations.
6. Prepare IRS form 1120-H form for sub-associations.
7. Acts quickly and effectively when the situation demands it.
8. Responsible for making the Association Manager and Associate Association Manager aware of significant or important information and changes within the sub-associations.
9. Responsible for sub-association annual meeting preparation by copying, assembling, mailing and performing other duties that may be required to conduct the meeting
10. Understands and follows directions given by each sub-association board President and Treasurer.
11. Act as liaison between SWRA and sub-associations.
12. Maintains current sub-association communication for board of directors and owners.
13. Strong management and customer service skills are required.
14. The use of constant contact and PayHOA for group emails.
15. Completing questionaries for condominium sales and re-financing.
