Job Summary
Part-time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist for established landscape architecture and civil engineering firm in downtown Winston-Salem.
Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. (some flexibility with hours).
Responsibilities
- Maintain company calendars, contacts, and Excel spreadsheets
- Route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mailings
- Order a variety of supplies
- Order catered food for meetings and clean up afterwards
- Greet building guests and validate parking
- Maintain tidiness of common areas
- Occasional errands
Requirements
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word including mail merge and label printing)
- Ability to learn new skills and software on the job
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently and with attention to detail while also staying aware of surroundings/building activity
- Ability to greet visitors & field questions with social grace, respect, & maturity
- Ability to communicate effectively with all employees, clients, guests, & vendors
$18-$22/hour, depending on qualifications
Paid time off accrues immediately; paid holidays; matched 401K if eligible
