Job Description:
As an Oregon Licensed Electrician at Stimson Lumber Company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing preventive and predictive maintenance, interpreting complex documentation, evaluating electrical quality and safety processes, communicating effectively with teams and vendors, and safely installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
To excel in this role, you must possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance and repairs to electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other documentation to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and management teams to address electrical issues and improve processes
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and any discrepancies
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of electrician maintenance experience
- Oregon Electrician License or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with MCC's, VFD's, conveying and hydraulic systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
