Stimulus Technologies is a turn-key technology company offering a range of services including Managed IT services and wireless Internet services through Stimulus Broadband. You will be working for Stimulus Broadband in Velarde, NM as a regional Service Technician. The goal is to maximize customer commitment and the prosperity of business by producing results in a timely manner.

What will you be doing for Stimulus Broadband?

The Service Technician is responsible for prepping and installing various types of equipment for Internet Services. A Stimulus Broadband service technician will work with direction to ensure the high quality of customer service. Strong customer relation skills are a must.

Success Profile

·        Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

·        Desire to want to work and learn…previous experience not required but preferred.

·        Basic understanding of all customer support procedures.

·        On site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of various equipment.

·        Comfortable working in confined spaces.

·        Ability to install Wireless/Fiber/Cable equipment

·        Understand troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues.

·        Produce frequent service report updates.

·        Operate vehicles in a safe manner.

·        Adhere to company’s given rules and regulations.

·        Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

·        Confident to climb ladders and towers at different heights.

·        Team up with colleagues and pass on important information.

·        Discern customer needs and offer advice or recommendations.

·        Proven trustworthy and reliable from previous employment positions.

·        Intermediate Computer knowledge (IP address) and phone system knowledge.

·        Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes.

·        Ability to manage and preserve technical equipment.

·        Good knowledge of English and technical terminology.

·        Ability to easily acclimate to modified schedules, shifts and occasional on call/after-hours work.

·        Maintaining safety standards, while working in all sorts of weather and assisting in conducting risk assessments.

·        Accustomed to using mobile tools and applications.

·        Communicate effectively with clients in non-technical terms.

·        Have fun in a casual work environment.

Requirements

Stimulus Technologies performs a pre-employment and random background checks, and illicit drug, alcohol, and cannabis tests. Due to the nature of this position, you will be required to submit to and pass the required testing. Employees must have a valid driver’s license.

Pay and Benefits

Stimulus Broadband offers competitive pay and benefits. The pay scale for this position is $18-$24 hourly plus paid time off, employer paid health insurance, 401k match, and optional dental, vision, and supplemental benefits. Stimulus Broadband offers training and reimbursement for certifications and training in IT-related fields.

Salary : $18 - $24
