We’re hiring a District Manger to oversee the merchandising operations at multiple big-box retail garden centers.
This position is perfect for someone with a passion for gardening, a knack for leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and inspire garden center staff to meet sales goals and deliver outstanding organization and plant care.
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day activities, including inventory, merchandising, and staffing across multiple locations.
- Plant Care: Maintain the health and appearance of plants and ensure product displays are visually appealing.
- Training: Hire, train, and mentor staff to excel in their roles.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report sales, inventory, and operational performance to upper management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least one year of supervisory experience in retail, garden centers, or a related field.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge: Gardening or plant care knowledge is a plus, but not necessary.
- Travel: Ability to manage multiple locations and travel between them efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
