What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garden Center Merchandiser position at Stinchcomb Nursery Service?
Responsibilities:
-Unloading and displaying merchandise
-Maintenance, condensing product and keeping sales floor neat and organized
-Various job locations within a big-box retailer
-Flexible work schedule/hours with either one store or multiple store coverage with paid travel time between store locations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in merchandising, retail/sales, customer service, horticulture, landscaping, or other related fields preferred
- Ability to handle physical workload - consistently lift and move up to 40 lbs. throughout the day
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Able to work both independently and with others
- Minimum age of 18
- Work is performed in multiple locations. Reliable transportation & valid driver's license is a necessity.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $17.50 per hour
