Lead Merchandiser – Seasonal Role
Be a Leader in Garden Center Merchandising!
Are you creative, organized, and passionate about plants? We’re looking for a Lead Merchandiser to take charge of merchandising at four big-box retail garden centers. This seasonal position is ideal for someone with an eye for detail and a love for organizing beautiful displays that drive sales.
Position Details:
- Seasonal Role: Work 10 months out of the year.
- Hourly Pay: $19 to $20 per hour.
- Vehicle Requirements: A reliable car is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Merchandising Excellence: Organize eye-catching displays to showcase plants
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with garden center staff to ensure displays align with seasonal promotions and sales goals.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure merchandise is replenished and organized.
- Plant Care: Maintain the health and presentation of plants to create a vibrant shopping experience.
- Travel Between Locations: Aid fellow merchandising across four garden centers, maintaining consistency and quality.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least one year of experience in merchandising, retail, or a similar role.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Skills: Strong organizational and creative skills with an eye for detail.
- Knowledge: Gardening or plant care knowledge is a plus, but not necessary
- Travel: Ability to travel between multiple locations efficiently.
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
