We are seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative to join our team in North Central Missouri, covering Carroll, Chariton, and Randolph counties. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory
- Develop and maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the assigned territory
- Manage existing dealer accounts and recruit new dealerships to increase sales
- Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the assigned territory to meet sales goals
- Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support within the assigned territory
- Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers through personal contact or a designated seller
Competencies/Qualifications/Experience:
- Candidates should possess three or more years of ag experience, including previous experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales
- Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of proven sales techniques, negotiating skills, and the ability to overcome obstacles
- Candidates should have a proven track record in dealer development and retention
- Candidates should exhibit initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision to meet established goals
- Prioritizing candidates with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and values, and achieving desired results
