Stinger focuses primarily on the Southwestern Bridge and Highway market, specializing in bridge projects. Stinger fabricates in its Coolidge, Arizona facility located south of the Phoenix/Chandler/Gilbert area and erects work in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado. Stinger is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector / Tester for the Structural Steel fabrication shop.
POSITION SCOPE:
The Quality Control / Quality Assurance Inspector conducts sampling and testing structural steel and misc. metals. This is a safety sensitive position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Inspection of Structural Steel members for compliance with specifications, shop drawings and production processes and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
BACKGROUND:
- Certifications a plus - past experience
EQUIPMENT USED:
- Personal Computer
- Phone/fax
- Computer Software including: MS Windows 7, MS Office 2010 Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD, and Tekla.
