Server
Our team of Stinkin' awesome Servers play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive dining experience for truck drivers, travelers, and locals alike. Their primary responsibilities include greeting customers as they enter, taking food and drink orders, and delivering meals to tables in a timely manner. Servers are also responsible for answering any questions about the menu, providing recommendations, and accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions. Their role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers returning, especially in rural areas where truck stops, and good food, are crucial for travelers.
What You'll Do
- Foster a welcoming environment by greeting and assisting customers.
- Ensure the dining area remains clean and organized, including setting and clearing tables, following sanitation procedures, and following cleaning schedules.
- Take orders, serve food and drinks, make menu recommendations, encourage meal add-ons or specialty items to increase sales, as well as ensure order quality and accuracy.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions.
- Perform side duties as assigned by store leadership.
- Learn hot/cold times and temperatures for each food item.

What You'll Need:
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills, as well as a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- A sense of urgency while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, use a step stool or ladder, and work from eye to floor level.
- Prior serving experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to work in a cooler averaging 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Hours: Part time, 8-29 hours/week.
Shift: 5:30am-2:30pm - Days and times may vary; including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
