Store Manager
Our Store Manager position is ideal for that person who loves leading people, can't get enough of whatever new thing the day brings, and really doesn't like to be bored. Leaders of the most amazing team of skunks within the store, we need a person who can take the chaos of the day and turn it into a perfectly orchestrated retail experience for employees and customers alike. Focusing on growing our people, building our brand and maximizing the potential of the store, the Store Manager will provide effective, enthusiastic leadership in the daily management of store employees and in implementing the company's policies, procedures, and strategy to provide outstanding customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- As a Stinkin' Awesome People Leader, you will be tasked beyond just management and challenged to lead. While remembering to get stuff done, we are looking for someone who is also a cheerleader, trainer, mentor, and solution finder.
- Essentially, we need an operational wizard. From managing labor to driving sales, daily books to community events… you'll have a good combination of standard work mixed with fun new promotions, events and projects.
- Know your numbers! As much as we wish we could grow money on trees, we make it the old fashion way with knowledge, strategy and hard work. You'll own the numbers for your store, make sure labor is in-line according to sales, monitor inventory, reduce waste, watch sales volumes and understand market trends.
- Communicate frequently and proactively with the District Manager, Operational Leadership team and with our support team at the Skunk Den. Know when to use your resources to solve problems.
- Executes all aspects of quarterly product promotions ensuring pricing policies are adhered to as well as vendor supplied signage and required displays are in line with the brand.
What You'll Need
- Solution focused thinking. You get 5 minutes to complain and then we solve problems.
