Job Title : Picker / Packer Associate Reports To : Warehouse Supervisor
Pay Rate : $15 per hour, $250 signing bonus, after successful completion of first 90 days!!
Position Summary :
This role's main responsibility will be to pick the items from the bins appropriately. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount to the success of this role.
Position Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the warehouse team : help organize, pack and clean Hub work areas daily
- Read pick tickets and correctly pick items based on orders
- Ensure quality items are put into every single box during packing
- Pack every box efficiently, correctly with appropriate contents as instructed, and with a level of care satisfactory to the Packing Team and the Supervisor
- Assist with Inventory & Returns as needed
- Always ask if anything is unclear, misunderstood, seems out-of-place, or is unsafe in any way.
- Effectively communicate needs, ideas, and questions with Team Members and Managers, to always ensure operational efficiency
- Understand the expectations of workplace safety and use good judgment to create an injury-free workplace
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications :
Position Details :
The position is for 40 hours per week. Candidate must be able to work 8 hours a day, stand on their feet for extended periods of time, and lift and carry 20 pounds.
