Summary: This position maintains a safe working environment by cleaning and performing routine building maintenance within the dealership’s Service Department and shop areas.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cleans (including sweeping & mopping) all surfaces and floors within the Service Department (shop and other areas as assigned)
- Performs routine building maintenance (inside and outside)
- Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures.
- Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly.
- Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager.
- Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
- Runs errands as directed by shop foreman.
- Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.
- Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to commute to work on time for duration of shift
- Must be able to submit and clean background check.
Work Hours & Schedule:
Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
