Ideal candidates will have previous buying/procurement experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Entering and maintaining supplier database information in the business management system
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customer, including current, new and potential suppliers
- Document, measure, and work with supplier to improve supplier performance
- Research potential new supplier's abilities and products while maintaining good relationships with existing suppliers
- Cost analysis of current and future products/suppliers
- Develop and innovative procurement strategies based on company goals
Education:
- A bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
Experience:
- 7 years buying/purchasing experience is required
- 2-4 years of experience in metal fabrication/manufacturing environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
