Team Member- STL Toasted

STL Toasted is located inside the STL City Foundry Food Hall. We make artisan toasted raviolis from scratch, using only the best ingredients. We are looking for a part-time cross-trained team member to work the Point of Sale (POS) system in the Front of House (FOH) as well as do some expo, light prep (chopping herbs, grating cheese, etc.), and frying raviolis in the Back of House (BOH). The ideal candidate is reliable, on time, respectful, and efficient at their job. They find things to do in their downtime. They gladly help other team members when they are able. They are friendly, genuine and patient with customers.

**This position is Monday-Friday, 10:45am-3pm**

Pay is $14/hour PLUS tips!

Responsibilities will include:

• Ringing up customer's orders efficiently and correctly using the Toast POS system
• Communicating order changes and/or errors to the fryers/expo team members
• Restocking and preparing for-here and to-go paper goods for workflow ease
• Expo orders when they are finished, making sure they get to the correct customer
• Prep work, such as chopping herbs, grating cheese, etc.
• Frying & garnishing raviolis to order
• Keeping the stall up to the health department's standards with regards to cleaning and sanitation practices
• Following all STL Toasted workplace policies & procedures

Physical Demands:

• Bending
• Stooping
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet for entire shift

Skills:

• Familiarity with Toast POS system preferred
• Understanding of food safety practices in regards to cash handling
• Basic knife/prep skills
• Prior fryer usage a plus
• Strong time-management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Prior experience in a customer-facing role
