Position Overview: As a Mobile Commercial Tire Technician at STLF Diesel Repair, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance and performing tire repairs and replacements for semi-trucks and trailers across Central Missouri. You will work directly with customers, delivering exceptional service at their location—whether on the roadside or at their yard.
Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial tire repairs, installations, and replacements for semi-trucks and trailers.
- Provide roadside assistance to customers experiencing tire issues.
- Utilize the company service truck to travel to customer locations within central Missouri.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot tire-related issues to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of all service calls and repairs completed.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide high-quality customer service.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of verifiable experience working with commercial tires (semi-trucks, trailers).
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be available for on-call duties as needed.
