Job Overview:

As a Mobile Preventative Maintenance Technician at STLF Diesel Repair, you’ll play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our clients’ fleets. You’ll travel to customer locations to perform repairs, and maintenance for various commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, buses, and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment such as trucks, trailers, forklifts, and equipment etc.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair systems as needed
• Maintain service records and log completed tasks
• Provide on-site customer support and technical advice
• Manage inventory of tools and replacement parts
• Respond to emergency service calls when necessary
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and company procedures
• Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers at all times
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technology, techniques, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• .High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
• 2 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role (specific industry experience is a plus)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Willingness to travel to various job sites within the region
• Be within one hour commuting distance of Columbia MO

Working Conditions:

• Mobile service environment, working in various locations throughout the Central Missouri area.
• Flexibility in work hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and in physically demanding situations.
• A well-maintained service vehicle, equipped with certain company tools and parts, will be provided.
• Rotating Oncall Schedule

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
