Job Overview
As the Electrical Assembler, you are responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems within STM Canna equipment. Working closely with R&D, Assembly, and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems within our organization.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics to determine the layout, location, and specifications of electrical systems
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify and address potential issues before they escalate
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
- Conduct tests and assessments on electrical systems to evaluate performance, identify deficiencies, and recommend necessary improvements or repairs
- Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work performed, including records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Ensuring electrical components meet production deadlines
- Willingness to be flexible and accept new tasks and responsibilities as assigned
- Prep and assemble components, build, inspect and test products per SOPS
- Assist with writing SOP and general work instructions documentation
- Inspect and document parts and assemblies for conformance, clearly mark accepted and non-conforming items per SOPS
- Assist with any and all tasks in machining, sawing, prep or assembly areas as required for production
- Travel to client sites to perform routine maintenance and repair work as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working as an electrical technician or in a related field is desirable
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and address issues efficiently
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in diagnosis and repairs
- Lift up to 80 lbs, transport/stock purchases, raw, and finished materials in house
Duties may change and expand depending on performance and company growth.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
