Position Title of the job: Human Resource, General Administration & Document Control Officer
Reports to: RM Americas
Job Purpose:
The primary objective shall be to strategically manage all human resources functions to support the successful execution of the construction project. Role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures tailored specifically to the demands and challenges of a chemical construction environment and its subsequent transition to a commissioned full operations set-up.

Required Key Skills:
Bachelors in Human Resources or related field
Preferred PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to perform work related tasks (presentations, reports, training content, metrics, and outcomes, etc.),
Working Knowledge of various Electronic Document Management Systems (Sharepoint, Sharepoint Online, Ineight, Projectwise,.

KRA:
Workforce planning and recruitment:
- Collaborating closely with project management, role will develop workforce plans to ensure the timely availability of skilled labor and resources required for various construction phases.
- Oversee recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding of construction personnel, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity as per the ABG process
Employee relations and engagement:
- Serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for employees, the incumbent will address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- This role will promote a positive work environment conducive to employee engagement, morale, and retention, fostering a sense of belonging and teamwork among construction teams.
Compensation & Benefits, Payroll Systems:
- Support payroll process including bi-weekly payroll, bonus payments, tax reporting & filings, reporting and statutory requirements
- Defining payroll, benefits, bench marketing of the roles within the Houston area
- Assist in coordinating the compensation pay plan; reviews pay survey data, recommends pay ranges for new positions, etc.
- Coordination and implementation of all the employee benefits programs; assists in the communication of benefits, knowledgeable of benefit trends and new options, recommends benefit programs, ensures compliance with processing of offered benefit enrollments and claims as well as protected leave management.
HR administration:
- Overseeing HR administrative functions such as payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and recordkeeping, you will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality in all HR processes.
Legal, Compliance & Safety Management:
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings
- Investigating and mediating allegations of job-related complaints
- Establishing local site practices and procedures
- Labour relations and knowledge and understanding of EEO laws, A rmative Action and con ict resolution

- Prioritizing the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel on site, this position will ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and protocols. Incumbent will work closely with the safety team to implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, conduct training programs, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the construction site.
Performance Management System:
- Maintains the work structure by routinely reviewing and updating job requirements and job descriptions to maintain compliance with related laws and regulations.
- Adherence of Performance Management Life-Cycle.
- Ensure about Goal Settings, Mid-year Reviews and Annual Compensation reviews.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business and departmental goals.
Engagement and Awareness:
- Enhance the organization's human capital by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, training and practices
- Creating and promoting Aditya Birla awareness amongst the local community (Beaumont and Houston communities)
- Engagement & Retention : Workforce satisfaction, turnover rate, talent turnover rate, retention rate.
Document Control and Administrative work:
- Responsible for administrative facilities and office operations support activities including security for the premise.
- Manage front office desk management related activities.
- Scheduling and planning internal and external meetings.
- Provide Document Management support to entire project team, operation team
- Retrieve files Upload / Download files, Manage Document Naming Convention, numbering, assigning, distribution and support audits
- Process Incoming/Outgoing Transmittals, initiate and track document reviews
- Ensure that electronic record files as required are maintained in good order.
- Produce reports on documentation and progress as requested
- Optimize Document Control productivity, efficiency, and service quality across all departments
