About Us: STMW Manufacturing is a provider of premier Sheet Metal Fabrication, CNC Machining and Assembly in Central Texas. We provide parts for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and contract manufacturers (CMs) in the telecommunication, semi-conductor industry.
We are seeking qualified candidates available to work the following:
· Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
· May be required to work overtime
Job Description:
· Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct.
· Performing detailed and recorded inspections throughout manufacturing process ensuring they are up to industry and company standards.
· Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems.
· Inspect all product returns, analyze the defect, and document the findings.
· Verify all processes are conforming to established quality standards and required customer specifications.
· Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
· Investigate reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analysis, or quality trends.
Requirements and Skills:
Ø Ability to analyze, document, and report inspection results.
Ø Basic math, communications and interpersonal skills required.
Ø Ability to read drawings including assemblies, data sheets, and process sheets.
Ø Operate within project scheduling and priorities.
Ø Promote process improvement and be a team player
Ø Ability to operate simple machinery and sensitive/delicate measuring equipment.
Ø Familiarity of manufacturing methods and processes.
Ø Requires physical ability to preform inspections including standing for long periods of time, kneeling, crouching, repetitive motions, and ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ø Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365.
Ø Maintain test equipment and cleanliness of Quality lab.
Ø Attention to detail and quality of work essential.
Ø Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Ø HS diploma or equivalent
Ø Manufacturing experience 1 year (Preferred)
Ø Quality inspection experience 1-2 years (Preferred)
Ø GD & T a plus
