We are seeking 1 qualified candidate available to work on the following days and times :
1st Shift : Monday - Friday from 7 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m.
JOB SUMMARY
The Sheetmetal Engineer will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and overseeing the production of sheet
metal components used in our semiconductor equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-
solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Use SolidWorks CAD software to create detailed technical drawings from cut sheets, prints, sketches,
scanned images, and customer supplied data and documents.
Ensure CAD drawings are complete, accurate, timely and in compliance with standards.
Provide measurements, dimensions and notes on materials needed to complete orders.
Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models as well as marking up the blueprint
drawings per findings, special approvals, material, etc.
Maintain notes, design calculations, drawings, design parameters and other documentation for future
reference.
Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software and adjust machine settings to the
desired product specifications.
Follow procedures for CAD data management and maintain organized file system for production drawings.
Evaluate and manage tooling operations and implement process improvements.
Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to international
standards.
Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
Highly experienced with bill of materials and drawings to minimizes waste in materials, manpower,
equipment, and other resources.
Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
Input and maintain routings in ERP system.
Continually seek new manufacturing technology and process methods that will improve the productivity,
cost, quality, and flexibility of manufacturing.
Work with engineering on all initiatives to improve and standardize and optimize.
Perform in the fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing business.
Work in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented environment.
Participate in multiple technical programs at once (typically 3 or 4 programs simultaneously)
Apply a get-it-done, and get-it-done-right mindset coupled with attention to detail.
Apply proactive and reactive problem-solving skills. Be a self-starter.
Communicate technical results, plans, and issues with internal and external customers, including
presenting and writing reports and proposals.
Quickly understand new technology areas and manage and adapt to rapidly changing customer needs.
Support the pursuit of new business opportunities through proposal writing, opportunity identification,
and participation in meetings.
Stay current in technology advancements and embrace growth opportunities.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 : 2015 standards throughout the production process.
Must have knowledge of Solidworks (sheetmetal preferred).
Must have knowledge of AP100 software (preferred)
Must have knowledge of 3I Bend software (preferred)
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal design and manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools).
Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting, bending, and welding.
Knowledge of material properties and selection for sheet metal applications.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 : 2015 standards and quality management systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
