We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Pleasanton, California. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and team members. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is passionate about contributing to a growing company, and is eager to learn and develop their career in finance.

Responsibilities :

Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.
Analyzing workflow processes.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.
Review invoices for proper documentation.
Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
Reviewing and reconciling credit cards and expense reports.
Entering invoices and general ledger data.
Assisting senior financial officers.
Previous experience with NetSuite ERP system is a plus.

Requirements and Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

2 years working in Accounts Payable preferred.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experience using office machinery (fax, printer, copier, phone systems, etc.).

Ability to work and think independently, be ambitious and maintain a high energy level.

Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Detailed oriented.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees, customers vendors and partners.

Flexibility to help them adjust to new tasks should the company or office need change.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions and handle vendor contracts, among other tasks.
