Duties
Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner.
Sanitate tables, utensils, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Buss tables promptly after guests leave to maintain a tidy dining environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns.
Manage time effectively during busy shifts to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions.
Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food service is a plus.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
