The Community Association Administratorwill coordinate the management, communication, and governance activities of the developer-controlled Homeowners and Condominium Associations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with the CAO and property management company, manages and supervises the administration, improvement, maintenance, and general operations of residential properties.
  • Determine whether repairs and/or maintenance are needed based on regular inspections of the grounds, facilities, and equipment.
  • Acts as the liaison between onsite managers, tenants, and owners.
  • Coordinates the activities of the Board of Directors, the property management company, and employees, as appropriate
  • Ensure proactive and responsive communication with the property management company
  • Ensure responsive communication with residents, as appropriate
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Florida’s HOA and Condominium Statutes
  • Meets weekly with the Board President to discuss the week’s work and the next week’s priorities
  • Meets quarterly with the Board President to discuss performance and improvement opportunities
  • Assist the Board of Directors, the property management company, and employees with maintenance, communication, and governance activities, as assigned
  • Attend Board of Directors and committee meetings, as assigned
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to train others.
  • Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of property management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, Real Estate, Finance, or related field required.
  • Possession of Florida Community Association Manager’s license
  • Three to five years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
