What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Association Administrator position at Stock Development?
The Community Association Administratorwill coordinate the management, communication, and governance activities of the developer-controlled Homeowners and Condominium Associations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- In coordination with the CAO and property management company, manages and supervises the administration, improvement, maintenance, and general operations of residential properties.
- Determine whether repairs and/or maintenance are needed based on regular inspections of the grounds, facilities, and equipment.
- Acts as the liaison between onsite managers, tenants, and owners.
- Coordinates the activities of the Board of Directors, the property management company, and employees, as appropriate
- Ensure proactive and responsive communication with the property management company
- Ensure responsive communication with residents, as appropriate
- Maintain strong knowledge of Florida’s HOA and Condominium Statutes
- Meets weekly with the Board President to discuss the week’s work and the next week’s priorities
- Meets quarterly with the Board President to discuss performance and improvement opportunities
- Assist the Board of Directors, the property management company, and employees with maintenance, communication, and governance activities, as assigned
- Attend Board of Directors and committee meetings, as assigned
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to train others.
- Understanding of laws, guidelines, and best practices of property management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, Real Estate, Finance, or related field required.
- Possession of Florida Community Association Manager’s license
- Three to five years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
