Maintenance Technician II – Cleves, Ohio
Since 1974, Stock Manufacturing & Design has been a family run business with roots on the west side of Cincinnati. We have grown from one facility to three and have facilities in Cleves, Fairfield, and Harrison. We have proven our ability to “outsell” our manufacturing / fabrication capacity in the thriving marketplace of steel fabrication in the contract manufacturing industry.
We have a wealth of talent and experience in steel fabrication within the industries we serve and are in search of a motivated self-efficient individual as a Maintenance Technician II. This position will be based in either Cleves, Ohio, but will need to be able to travel to our other facilities in Harrison and Fairfield as well. The hours are Mon – Fri from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining facility and equipment safely and efficiently across four facilities of varying sizes/complexity, all located within a 30-mile radius of Cincinnati. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & repairs, as well as supporting Level 1 and Level 3 technicians in achieving department goals. This role operates independently with a focus on continuous learning, effective documentation & collaboration, reflecting our core values of integrity, commitment, growth, and partnership.
Job Duties
- Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting (50%): Diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment and machinery across all four facilities, following safety protocols and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Preventive Maintenance (25%): Execute preventive maintenance tasks, optimizing schedules to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
- Record Keeping and Documentation (10%): Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using the CMMS system, ensuring data is up-to-date and supports decision-making.
- Team Collaboration (10%): Work closely with Level 1 and Level 3 technicians to align on priorities, share knowledge, and coordinate maintenance schedules effectively.
- Proactive Problem-Solving/Other duties as assigned (5%): Identify critical maintenance opportunities and implement solutions to mitigate disruptions and enhance equipment reliability.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing / production or similar environment required
- Experience with 480 volt, 3 phase power high preferred
- Valid driver’s license required, and reliable transportation.
- Willing to travel to different locations and divisions dependent on equipment needs
- Must be able to work well with others, jump in where needed, and lead by example
